Ceske Budejovice was established by the King Premysl Otakar II in 1265. He used the confluence of the Moldau and Malse rivers to create a medieval gothic town. Due to its strategic importance many wars and conflicts passed by. Namely, Hussite Wars, Thirty Years War 1618 -48, Austro - Prussian Wars, WII etc.

The most beautiful sights can be find in the heart of Ceske Budejovice. For example Square of Premysl Otakar II with baroque Samson Fountain and its Town Hall, built in 1727-1730, originally gothic Cathedral of St. Nicholas and the Black Tower.

Holasovice Village started its history in the 2nd millennium BC, in the Neolithic period. It was settled by Slavonic peoples in the 9th and 10th centuries AD. The first written record is from a document signed by the king Wenceslaus II written in 1292. The numbers of farmsteads remained steady at seventeen from the early 16th century onwards, and the village did not begin to grow until the 20th century. The village is built in the style known as the “Folk Baroque”. Holasovice is written as UNESCO heritage list.

Trebon Castle and town is the renaissance residence of the last Rosenberg, Petr Vok. Its history starts in 13th century. In 14th century, the Rosenbergs became its owners and decided to make Trebon administrative a spiritual center for the surrounding area, improving city fortifications and founding an Augustinian monastery. Trebon experienced its golden age during the era of the last two Rosenbergs at the turn of 16th to 17th century. They rebuilt the castle into renaissance style and established several fishponds as a source of livelihood for the people. In early 17th century, Petr Vok of Rosenberg the last male member of the family owned the castle. The Castle provides today shelter to extensive art collections, library and archives.
